Hello Hunters,
It's been a while since an update, but the server has been restarted today and updated to the latest version of newserv. The following updates have happened thanks to fuzziqersoftware and Blst:
Patches
The following patches are now available from the ship gate:
- Item Pickup Patch (GC/Xbox): Disables picking up items by default; to pickup items, the Z button must be held.
- Blinking Shifta/Deband Patch (GC/Xbox): Shifta/Deband will blink shortly before they will expire
- Palette Patch (GC): Allows the user to set extra palettes on the C-Stick
- Draw Distance Patch (GC/Xbox): This allows items to be seen further away.
- Extended Item Info Patch (GC): Displays the item information window when targetting an item, allowing you to check information about the item.
- Rares in Quests (DCv2): If not playing with server drops, this patch allows items with 8-star rarity or more to drop in quests on Dreamcast. This one was made by Blst. You can pick up this patch online and then go offline to get rares offline in download quests.
The status icons have been further fixed for the HP bar patch on GC/Xbox too.
Episode 3 Plus Patch
An Episode 3 Plus Patch is now available from the ship gate for JP, EU, and US! This allows those playing on retail discs or non-US versions to be able to access the Episode 3 Plus cards and features. Note that if you are to go offline at all or access a server without the Episode 3 Plus cards after obtaining Plus cards, they will be deleted from your save file if not playing with a Plus disc, so be careful with this! The easiest way to never have issues is to play online only on Ragol.org.
